Staying Local with Buddy's and Glass Meadows

I’m kicking this off local with a stop at Buddy’s Dispensary and a look at the Jersey Sauce Boss Sauce Stick Liquid Live Resin 0.5g vape cartridge from Glass Meadows.

First up, Buddy’s.

This is my go-to spot. Easy. Reliable. No second-guessing. It’s a women-owned dispensary housed in the old “Pink House,” and the branding is dialed in to match. As someone who lives in branding, that kind of consistency stands out immediately, and they nailed it.

The experience backs it up every time. Quick check-in, clean layout, solid product displays, and an ordering system that just works, whether you’re walking in or ordering ahead. Staff is helpful without being overbearing. You can pay by bank, and they offer delivery within 25 miles, which is a major plus.

Now the product.

Glass Meadows is quietly (or not so quietly) putting out some of the best live resin and live rosin in NJ right now. There’s intention behind everything, from single-source material to ceramic coil hardware and an upgraded mouthpiece on their live rosin carts.

I’ve been running the Citrus Party (0.5g) in a Yocan Uni Pro at 2.6v; that’s the sweet spot for flavor.

And it shows.

Bright citrus on the front end, with a little gas layered underneath. Clean, flavorful, and exactly what it’s supposed to taste like. Nothing muted. Nothing artificial. Just straight fire.

Cannabinoids: 81.72%

THC: 79.2%

Terpenes: 5.71%

A few pulls in and it’s clear, this isn’t rushed product. They care about what they’re putting out.

Only real critique?

The packaging.

The mylar bag doesn’t match the level of quality inside. A tube or tin, like they use for their rosin, would bring it full circle. Not a dealbreaker, just a missed opportunity from a branding standpoint. But that’s the designer/marketer in me.
