Forty, a Reset, and Starting Joint Venture

With my birthday coming up this Friday, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on this past year. The past few months especially.
Forty was a hell of a ride
Forty was a hell of a ride, that’s for sure. Lots of ups and just as many downs.
Then in February, I was let go from my job. Not going to lie, it kind of messed me up a bit at the time.
The reset I didn’t plan on
But in a strange way, it pushed me to slow down and reconnect with myself and what I actually enjoy doing.
That eventually led to me launching Joint Venture on April 3rd.
Starting Joint Venture
Since then, I’ve been back into writing, design, branding, marketing, product development, consulting, and just being involved in the cannabis space again in a way that feels genuine and exciting.
Would I like to get back to working with like-minded people in this industry? Absolutely.
But for now, I’m focused on building this out and seeing where it goes while I look for the right fit.
Where things are now
I’ve learned a lot this past year. About myself, life, and what actually matters.
Has it been easy? Not at all. But I do feel like I’m in a better place now than I was a year ago.
Closing thoughts
So to everyone who’s followed along, supported the content, or reached out so far, thank you. It really does mean a lot.
If you’re in the cannabis space in NJ and want to connect, I’d love to hear what you’re working on.
